"Source code" is a game of contrasting colors, different textures and typography. The work relates to the progressive digitization of the art world. The PHP code becomes an element of the composition and a coherent part of the work of art, thus fulfilling an aesthetic rather than a technical function. This piece is the quintessential example of MDE's work.
