Luohan army

"LUOHAN ARMY" is a work inspired by a visit to the British Museum. The digital painting shows an entire army of Chinese Luohan statues against a dilapidated vivid red background. On the one hand, this work celebrates ancient Chinese / Buddhist art, and on the other, it highlights the growing influence of China on the world cultural, economic and military scene.
